Flux

Flux is a smithing consumable used in PyreStorm MMORPG to assist in the forging of metal equipment. Rather than being used to create bars, Flux is combined with refined Bars during the crafting process to produce weapons, armor, tools, and other advanced metal equipment.

As blacksmiths progress through the game, higher-quality Flux becomes an essential component for crafting stronger gear from increasingly valuable metals.

Description

Flux is a specialized forging material that helps purify and stabilize molten metal during the smithing process. While metal bars are first created by smelting ore, Flux is added during equipment crafting to improve the quality and integrity of the finished item.

Nearly every forged weapon or piece of armor requires both the appropriate metal bars and Flux before it can be crafted.

Uses

Flux is consumed whenever a blacksmith crafts equipment from refined metal bars.

Common uses include:

Crafting swords, axes, maces, and other weapons.
Forging helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots.
Creating shields.
Crafting metal tools.
Producing advanced smithing components.
Improving the forging process for high-quality equipment.

Crafting

Flux is not used to smelt ores into bars. Instead, it is combined with refined Bars at an anvil or forge to create finished equipment.

Example crafting flow:

Mine Ore.
Smelt the ore into Bars.
Combine the appropriate Bars with Flux.
Forge weapons, armor, or tools.
